Metadata

The metadata matrix displays and controls the application of metadata categories on entities and other metadata categories.

Below you can see a matrix that shows example settings of custom metadata categories displayed in the mandatory entities:

The category Product brand is checked against the entity Content, meaning in the Mobilizer Content view, it is possible to see content organised by brand. Similarly, Geography is checked against Account and Contact, meaning it is possible to see Accounts and Contacts organised by their geography.

It also possible to apply metadata categories on other metadata categories, and then adjust access rules to control access to entities with those tags. For example, by checking Language under Product brand, it would be possible to create an access rule that says only those users tagged Language > Japanese can access Product brands tagged > Japanese.
